The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced today that Grand Valley State sophomore forward
Sarah Fromm has been named the GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week. Fromm scored three goals including two game-winning goals to help the Lakers go 2-0 in the opening weekend of the 2025 season. She scored the game-winning goal in the 80th minute in the 1-0 win at No. 16 Ashland on Thursday. Fromm followed it up with two goals including the game-winning goal in the 81st minute to lead GVSU to a 3-2 win at Cedarville on Saturday.
The fifth ranked Lakers will open their home schedule this Friday (Sept. 12) when they host No. 3 Minnesota State. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM at the GVSU Soccer Field.
