ALLENDALE, MICH. – Following the second round of play at the Folds of Honor Challenge, the Grand Valley State women's golf team continue to be in second place on the leaderboard.
Results
Findlay has opened a massive lead atop the standings, up by 28 strokes, sitting at two over after 36 holes. The Lakers ended round two at +30, with Dallas Baptist and West Texas A&M both one shot back of them in a tie for third. In fifth is Odessa at +33.
Charlotte Goersch is the top Laker golfer, ending round two in a tie for fourth. She shot an even par 71 with two birdies, sitting at +1 overall.
June Hsiao shot an 80 (+9) with two birdies to finish in a tie for 13
th at eight over par. In a tie for 17
th is
Lea Stotz at +11. She shot a 77 (+6) today with three birdies.
Rachael Krieger is tied for 21
st at +12 following her round of 80.
Heida Rafnsdottir made three birdies in her round of 78 to end the day tied for 26
th with a score of +14.
Making two birdies in her round of 81 (+10) was
Skyler Tierney, who ended the day at +18 in a tie for 33
rd.
Evelyn Park shot an 86 (+15) and is in 41
st at +24, while
Lorena Saquicoray is at +33 in 51
st following her round of 86.
The Lakers play the final round tomorrow, teeing off at 8:50 with Findlay and Dallas Baptist.
