NCAA Midwest Regional Fan Guide
Grand Valley State (41-12) is the #2 seed in the NCAA Division II Midwest Region and will host a four-team, double-elimination regional starting Thursday at the Laker Baseball field in Allendale, Michigan. The Lakers will play #7 Missouri S&T (32-23), followed by #3 seeded Lewis (36-16) facing #6 seeded Northwood (35-19). Grand Valley State is making its second consecutive appearance in NCAA postseason action under second-year head coach
Jordan Keur.
GVSU will be making its 19th NCAA DII Tournament appearance in program history and hosting for the fourth time. The Lakers have hosted two four-team regionals in Alledale (2003, 2006) and hosted a six-team regional in Normal, Illinois. The Lakers are 46-39 all-time in NCAA postseason action, including a 37-28 mark in regional action with six regional crowns.
