#9 Grand Valley State (30-10; 13-6) split a GLIAC doubleheader with Wayne State, dropping game one 3-0, but coming back in game two with a 19-3 7-inning, run-rule game. The fourth and final meeting of the four-game series will be played Saturday at 12 noon. GVSU will honor 11 seniors prior to the game starting at 11:35.

Wayne State scored a pair of runs in the top of the first, but the Lakers answered with six runs on six hits in the bottom of the first. DH

Collin Bradley improved to 5-2 on the year, yielding three runs on five hits with four strikeouts in 5.0 innings of work. Gill pitched the final two innings, giving up one hit.
Estrada was 2-4 with a 2B and three RBI, while six other Lakers drove in two runs. Morrison was 2-5 with two RBI, Gulbrandsen was 2-4 with three runs and two RBI, Rohman was 1-1 with two RBI and a home run. VanEnkevort was 2-2 with two runs and two RBI, Thelen was 1-4 with two RBI and two runs, while Stimac was 2-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
