The #5 Grand Valley State men's wrestling team will host the Laker Duals on Friday, Nov. 21 at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena. The event, which will feature three National Wrestling Coaches Association top eight programs, will begin at 10 a.m., with 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. matches to follow. In addition to GVSU, Glenville State and St. Cloud State come in both ranked number eight, while Findlay received votes.

Under the direction of first-year head coach RJ Boudro, the Lakers' lineup will boast five ranked wrestlers, including four ranked in the top four of the NWCA individual rankings. In addition, Chris Donathan (149) is a returning All-American and a three-time NCAA Championship qualifier who enters his final year in January with a 65-9 record. Two-time All-American and the 2024 National Champion at 174, Josh Kenny, is ready for his senior season. Senior Wyatt Miller, a two-time All-American at 197, drops down to 184, and Carter Blough returns as an All-American at 285. Sophomore Brayden Mirjavadi advanced to the NCAA Championships as a redshirt freshman at 184 and has moved up to 197 for his sophomore campaign. Junior Jak Keller (133) and sophomore Collin Twigg (141) are poised for breakout season's.
