• The Lakers are 33-19 all-time in season-openers, and have won 19-of-the-last-22.

• Grand Valley State has won 10 or more games 19 times in the 52-year history of the program, including 17 times since 2001.

• GVSU led the nation in total attendance (100,882) and average per game (12,610) in eight home dates during the 2023 campaign. GVSU has led the nation for 12 consecutive years.

The Lakers return 10 starters on offense, nine on defense and three on special teams for the 2024 season. Five return on the offensive line, including two, senior Gabe Brown and senior Kyler Blake-Jones, who are All-GLIAC honorees.
