ALLENDALE, Mich. - GVSU Athletics announces the debut of its first-ever official ready-to-drink cocktail, Lake + Valley Lemonade distilled by Long Road Distillers. The cocktail in a can is the latest installment of the GVSU Lake + Valley lifestyle line. The GVSU Alumni Owned, and Grand Rapids based Distillery has been trailblazing the distillery industry since May of 2015 with the goal of producing premium spirits using only the finest, locally sourced ingredients from Michigan.They have won over 70 awards for their efforts to do so. Long Road consistently fulfills its purpose due to their highly skilled personnel and several committed partners.
The official GVSU Athletics ready to drink cocktail will be available for purchase starting Monday, June 24th.
Lake + Valley Lemonade will be distributed throughout the state of Michigan at stores, bars, and restaurants. Beginning this fall, Laker fans can enjoy Lake + Valley Lemonade onsite at Lubbers Stadium and the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena, home of GVSU football and basketball. Each 12oz can features the primary "GV" athletics trademark and color. Inside, the vodka-based cocktail is a refreshing balance of lemon and blueberry notes with a hint of basil. The light-body drink boasts a 5% ABV with only 110 calories per can.
