Rylie Bisballe Named WBCA All-American

ALLENDALE, MICH.Rylie Bisballe continues to earn national recognition for her outstanding season, as today she was named a WBCA Honorable Mention All-American.
 
Already named First-Team All-Region by D2CCA, as well as GLIAC Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, Bisballe added one more honor for the season. The junior averaged 23.6 points and 7.2 rebounds, both top-five marks in the GLIAC. She scored in double-figures 27 times, including 23 times in the final 24 games of the season. Bisballe topped 20 points five times, hitting a career-high with 28 in the GLIAC clinching win at Northern Michigan. The Lake City, Michigan native also added her 1,000th career point in that same win, becoming the 29th player in program history to reach that milestone.
 
Bisballe recorded five double-doubles this year, three of which occurred in the postseason. She was the anchor of the nation's second-best scoring defense, blocking 38 shots and adding 40 steals. She surpassed 500 career rebounds earlier this season, and now has 696 for her career, sitting just outside the top-10 in program history.
