Grand Valley State completed a 4-game sweep over Gannon Sunday afternoon in Xenia, Ohio, winning game three 10-1 and game four 15-2 in seven innings. GVSU is now 4-0 on the year.
Game 1 -
Sam Leck. picked up the win (1-0), yielding one run on two hits with six strikeouts. Al Thornington pitched two hitless innings and tallied two strikeouts, while
Ayden VanEnkevort struck out three in two innings. 3B
Jonas Gulbrandsen was 1-5 with four RBI, while CF
Kyle Nott was 1-4 with two runs and thee RBI off  a 3-run homerun. SS
Connor Schuman was 2-3 with three runs scored and two RBI and RF
Justin Mansager was 1-3 with two runs and an RBI.Â
Game 2 -
Mike Morawski picked up the win (1-0), yielding one run on three hits with five strikeouts.
Colby Phipps yielded one runs on two hits and
Owen Avery pitched a scoreless seventh. LF
Ryan Dykstra was 2-3 with four RBI and two runs scored, including a 3-run HR, while Gulbrandsen was 2-4 with two runs three RBI and a solo HR. Nott was 2-4 with two runs, an RBI and a solo HR. Mansager and VanEnkevort each collected two hits, while Schuman was 1-2 with two runs and two RBI. Â
