SARASOTA, FL. – The GVSU women's golf team closed out their first tournament of the spring this afternoon down in the Sunshine State. The Lakers finished the tournament in 14^th after two rounds.

Ohio State won the event with a final round of 285 (-3) to end at even par. College of Charleston was second shot six under today to come in at two over. Tennessee was third with a finals score of four over, shooting seven under in the final round to move into the top three. Georgia Southern was fourth after a round of 283 (-5) and ended at +5. Rounding out the top five was Oklahoma, who shot six under today to move up to five with a final score of seven over. GVSU was 14^th after a final round of 302 (+14), ending at forty over.
 
Olivia Stoll made five birdies and an eagle to shoot a final round of 71 (-1) to ended in a tie for 30^th at four over. Julia Sanchez and Paula Badino both tied for 61^st at +12. Sanchez shot a 77 (+5) today with one birdie and Badino had one birdie in her round of 79 (+7). Megan Miron had a final round of 78 (+6) with one birdie. Rachael Krieger had a 76 (+4) with one made birdie to end in 80^th.
