Adrian, Mich.- The Lakers had a great open tournament at Adrian College earlier this afternoon. There were 6 different Lakers that took part in the tournament.  

Hannah Palise won her first match of the day with tech fall. Palise competed in her second match and pinned her opponent in 49 seconds. She fell in her third match. She won her fourth but lost in her fifth match to take sixth place. 

Aspen Blasko started off the day with a bye and continued to go up from there. Her first match she pinned her opponent in 25 seconds. She later had a tech fall in the second match to win. Blasko competed for third place and came out on top. She went 3-1. 

Other wrestlers that competed were Miriam Hopson (124), Olivia Heft (124), Clarissa Agostini (160), and Aaliyah Grandberry in the 207 weight class. 

The Lakers are staying home for the Home Opener on Saturday,  November 16th at 6 p.m. There will be a clinic offered to all ages from 12-2 before the match. If you are interested in signing up head to https://tinyurl.com/4y88jr3k
