Grand Valley State Athletics has teamed with Athlete's Thread in a collaborative effort that will offer Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities for GVSU student-athletes. 

Student-athletes who opt into the program will earn royalties from the sale of co-branded apparel featuring their name and number, combined with the official Grand Valley State Athletics logo. 

""Our partnership with Athlete's Thread illustrates our commitment to assist our student-athletes in building their personal brands," said Deputy Director of Athletics Doug Lipinski. "We continue to find new ways to grow GVSU athletics' championship brand, while offering an array of NIL-centric products," added Lipinski.

The Athlete's Thread opportunity is currently available for all Grand Valley State athletic teams.

As an approved licensee with Grand Valley State, Athlete's Thread contracts directly with interested GVSU student-athletes to design and create NIL licensed product as well as launch personalized online stores. Among the items offered for purchase include: replica jerseys, sweatshirts, shirseys and caricature designs with youth and adult sizing options. New gear featuring Grand Valley State student-athlete names, numbers and likeness will be added continuously as they opt to sign with Athlete's Thread.
