Grand Valley State Athletics announced single-game ticket information for the 2023 campaign. The Lakers, under the direction of first-year head coach Scott Wooster, are anticipated to hold a top three preseason national ranking. GVSU returns 28 players that have started games over the last two years and 66 letterwinners total on offense, defense, and special teams.
The Lakers will once again face a challenging 10-game schedule with five teams on the ledger that participated in the 2022 NCAA DII playoffs and six teams that won eight or more games. Four Laker home games (Colorado State-Pueblo, Assumption, Ferris State, Davenport) will feature teams that advanced to the 2022 playoffs.
Grand Valley State led the nation in attendance for the 11th consecutive year in 2022 and sold out of seats in four of seven games played at Lubbers Stadium.
"We have a lot of momentum going into the upcoming season and the demand for tickets is at an all-time high," said Assistant AD for Revenue and Fan Development Joe Verschueren. "Our crowds have continued to grow and last year was one of our highest attendance averages in school history. We have had a lot of positive feedback from fans about Coach Wooster and everyone is excited to see what GVSU Football will look like under his leadership. The atmosphere at Lubbers will be incredible this Fall, and I would encourage fans to order their tickets early," added Verschueren.

Fans can secure tickets for all home games now by becoming a GVSU Football Season Ticket Holder. Season ticket holders save money compared to the cost of single- games, get the best seats, and receive the most benefits. Packages start at $99 (only $16.50 per-game) and fans can select their own seats at gvsutickets.com.
