#25 Grand Valley State claimed a 59-13 GLIAC road win at Wayne State Saturday afternoon. GVSU will host Michigan Tech next Saturday, Nov. 8 at Lubbers Stadium for Homecoming 2025.
The Lakers scored 56 unanswered points from the 1:26 mark of the second quarter through the final gun in all three phases of the game. GVSU rushed for six touchdowns, recovered a fumbled snap in the endzone and returned an interception 90 yards for a touchdown.
Wayne State got on the board first with a 26-yard field goal that culminated an 11-play, 59-yard drive to start the game. The Lakers answered with a 10-play, 64-yard drive that PK

Schuster completed 17-of-26 passes for 256 yards to lead the passing game. Reed caught five passes for 70 yards, Wyche-El hauled in four passes for 81 yards and
Sean Byrd caught three passes for 33 yards. Russell-Dixon led the ground game with nine carries for 61 yards.
The GVSU defense recorded 9.0 tackles for loss and 4.0 QB sacks. LB
