Box Score DETROIT - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team fell 4-2 against Southwest Baptist in the NCAA Tournament Friday (April 28) afternoon. 
 
Southwest Baptist earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Jack Dausman and Martin Matov claimed a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. Unai Gonzalez and Sean Miller dropped a tough 6-7 decision at No. 1 doubles. Sebastian Arce and Freddy Cossio dropped a tough 5-7 decision at No. 3 doubles. 
 
On the singles side, Sebastian Arce earned a dominant 6-2, 6-2 straight set win at No. 2 singles. Denys Zamaraiev claimed a 6-7, 6-2, 6-4 three-set win at No. 3 singles. Sean Miller dropped a tough 3-6, 6-4, 4-6 three-set decision at No. 4 singles. Unai Gonzalez fell 6-7, 1-6 at No. 1 singles. Freddy Cossio fell 3-6, 2-6 at No. 6 singles. 
 
The Lakers end the season with a 12-10 record, while making a second consecutive NCAA appearance.
