Lakers travel to Florida for RussMatt Invitational

AUBURNDALE, Fla. – The Grand Valley State baseball team is set to travel to Auburndale, Florida for their spring break trip where they will play 10 games in seven days beginning Monday, March 6th. All games played at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex are available to watch on the RussMatt App. The full schedule is shown below:

The Lakers opened up the 2023 season last weekend at Indianapolis for a three-game series against the Greyhounds. Freshman Ayden VanEnkevort batted 4-8 in two games with a double and triple, while junior Nathan Logan hit 4-10 from the plate including a home run and triple. Junior Jake Rydquist notched four hits and two runs scored, while senior Spencer Nelson leads the Lakers with four runs scored.
