#4 Grand Valley State and Kentucky State will square off Saturday, October 7 in a Community Night game at Lubbers Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. In addition to the game, a full slate of scheduled events will take place during the day. Kentucky State's nationally acclaimed band (2019 HBCU Digest Band of the Year) will also be on hand for pre and post game festivities. Tickets are still available for the game and can be purchased at the link above.

 - Battle of the Bands - GVSU's Pride of the Midwest and the Mighty Marching Thorobred Band

 - Fifth Quarter band performances in Lubbers Stadium by GVSU and Kentucky State following the football.

 - Several High School Bands will be in attendance and featured during the game

 - Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Day

 - Several area youth football teams will be in attendance.
