DEARBORN, Mich. - The Grand Valley State men's golf team closed out their 2021-22 season at the NCAA DII Championship placing 16th with a score of 919 (+55). Charles DeLong finished T7 carding 219 (+3). DeLong scored even par (72) in the third round with back-to-back birdies in the front nine. He tallied eight birdies and 36 pars throughout the 54-hole tournament. Central Missouri claimed the number one seed heading into the medal match scoring 890 (+26). Arkansas Tech claimed the last spot to move onto the medal match quarterfinals finishing 8th carding 896 (+23).

Drew Coble placed tied for 70th scoring 18-over par (234). Eric Nunn finished the championship carding 235 (+19).  Nick Krueger scored his best round of golf on day three scoring 76 (+4). Krueger finished tied for 87th at 238 (76). Tanner Moore placed 104th carding 254 (+38). 

The Lakers end their season with two tournament wins and a second place finish at the Midwest/Central Regional.
