Box Score MIDLAND, Mich. - The Grand Valley State men's tennis team defeated Ferris State 4-3 in the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals to advance to the championship match. GVSU improved to 16-4 overall on the season. The Lakers will face Wayne State in the championship match tomorrow (May 1) at 9:00 AM indoor or 10:00 AM outdoors. 

GVSU claimed the doubles point by going 2-0 in doubles with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Sebastian Arce and Freddy Cossio claimed a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles. Jack Dausman and Sean Miller tallied a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles. On the singles side, Josep Canyadell claimed a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles. Sebastian Arce tallied a 6-2, 6-1 straight set win at No. 2 singles. Ignacio Morera-Lucas added a 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 three set win at No. 6 singles.
