Box Score MIDLAND, Mich. – The Grand Valley State men's tennis team picked up a road win against Northwood by a score of 6-1 Saturday (April 16) at Greater Midland Tennis Center. The Lakers improve to 13-4 overall, 5-2 in conference play. GVSU will host Lewis in the regular season finale on Wednesday, April 20.
 
GVSU claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Freddy Cossio and Sebastian Arce claimed a 7-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Jack Dausman and Tomas Oliveira tallied a 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles. Josep Canyadell and Sean Miller dropped a tough 6-7 decision at No. 1 doubles.
 
On the singles side, Sebastian Arce claimed a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles. Sean Miller tallied a 7-5, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles, while Tomas Oliveira added a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles. Jack Dausman claimed a 7-6 ,7-5 win at No. 5 singles, while Ignacio Morera-Lucas added a 7-5, 1-6, 10-7 win at No. 6 singles.
