Box Score The Grand Valley State men's tennis team dropped the GLIAC opener to Ferris State Saturday (March 19) in Big Rapids. The Lakers fall to 8-3 on the season.
 
Ferris State claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 doubles. On the singles side, Ignacio Morera-Lucas claimed a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 6 singles. Sebastian Arce dropped a tough 6-3, 4-6, 3-6 decision at No. 2 singles.
 
The Lakers will return to the courts for the GLIAC home opener against Lake Superior State on Friday (March 25).
