Box Score The Grand Valley State women's tennis team tallied a 5-2 victory over Walsh Saturday afternoon in Grand Rapids. The Lakers have now won four consecutive matches and improve to 4-2 on the year. GVSU will return to action March 6 in Mobile, Alabama versus Spring Hill College.

Grand Valley State started strong and dominated doubles action with three wins. Marily Cannellopoulos and Marija Leko claimed a 6-3 win at #1 doubles, while Vasileia Griva and Vera Griva recorded a 6-1 win at #2 doubles. Taylor Barrett and Estefania Hernandez notched a 6-1 win at #3 doubles.

#2 Leko (6-3, 6-2), #3 Barrett (6-3, 6-0), #4 Vasileia Griva and #6 Hernandez ecorded straight set wins in singles action to secure the win. Vera Griva and Canellopoulos dropped matches at #1 and #5 singles.
