The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced that a combined 55 Grand Valley State swimming and diving student-athletes were named to the Scholar All-America Team for the 2020-21 season. The award recognizes student-athletes who achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  
 
"Coach Boyce continues to set the standard for success both in the pool and the classroom," noted CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart. "These are some of the best ambassadors of Grand Valley and Athletic Director Becker, President Mantella, and Dr. Paul Leidig (Faculty Athletic Representative) can and should be proud of these 55 men & women."
 
Additionally, both the men and women swimming and diving teams earned Scholar All-America Honors for the 2021 spring semester. The women posted a 3.51 team GPA, while the men posted a 3.08 team GPA.
 
The Grand Valley State Women's swimming and diving team finished 5^th at the 2021 NCAA National Championship, while the men claimed an 8^th place finish.
