Box Score 2 Grand Valley State dropped a pair of GLIAC matches Wednesday (April 14) afternoon at Grand Rapids Racquet & Fitness to Ferris State. The Laker women fell 4-3, while the men dropped a 6-1 decision. GVSU will return to action for GLIAC road matches at Lake Superior State (April 16) and Michigan Tech (April 17). 
Women
Ferris State claimed the doubles point by winning matches at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions. 
Liv Hanover adn 
Vasileia Griva managed a 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles. GVSU split the six singles matches as 
Marija Leko claimed a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles, 
Vasileia Griva won a 6-2, 7-5 decision at No. 5 singles and 
Liv Hanover added a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles. 
Vera Griva fell 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, 
Taylor Barrett fell 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and 
Marily Canellopoulos dropped a 6-2, 6-4 match at No. 4 singles. 
Men
Grand Valley State dropped this GLIAC match by a 6-1 score, but looking inside the results you will see a much closer result. Ferris State claimed the doubles point winning a 7-5 deciding match at No. 3 doubles for the point. 
Sean Miller and 
Kushan Shah claimed a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. Four of six singles matches went the full three sets, with the Bulldogs winning three. 
Freddy Cossio claimed a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles for the Lakers' only point, 
Martin Matov fell 6-2, 5-7, 0-6 at No. 1 singles, 
Tomas Oliveira dropped a 6-2, 1-6, 7-10 decision at No. 5 singles and 
Ignacio Morera-Lucas lost a 5-7, 6-2, 12-14 decision at No. 6 singles. 
Jack Dausman fell 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and 
Sean Miller fell 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.
