Box Score Grand Valley State claimed a 6-1 GLIAC road win at Northwood in tennis action Saturday (Mar. 27). The Lakers improve to 5-7 overall and a GLIAC leading 3-0. 

GVSU claimed the doubles point with Martin Matov and Jack Dausman claiming a 6-2 win at No. 1 and Kushan Shah and Sean Miller winning a 7-6 decision at No. 2 doubles. The Lakers tallied five wins in singles action, one by forfeit. Matov won a 6-2, 6-4 match at No. 1 singles and Miller chipped in a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 3. Freddy Cossio notched a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles and Ignacio Morera-Lucas picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 5 singles. Jack Dausman fell 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 singles.
