Box Score Grand Valley State claimed a 5-2 GLIAC win over Wayne State Saturday (Mar. 20) at MVP Athletic Club. The Lakers, who improve to 4-7 overall and 2-0 in GLIAC action, will return to the court at Northwood (Mar. 27). 

GVSU claimed the doubles point, winning matches at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. Kushan Shah and Sean Miller (2) claimed a 7-5 win, followed by Tomas Oliveira and Freddy Cossio (3) winning by a 6-4 margin.

Miller claimed a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles and Oliveira added a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles. Cossio dominated at No. 5 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win, followed by a 6-1, 6-3 win by Ignacio Morera-Lucas.
