Box Score Grand Valley State dropped a pair of dual matches at Division 1 foe Western Michigan Friday (1/29) to open the campaign. In a rare tennis doubleheader, the Broncos claimed 7-0 victories over the Lakers in both matches.

The No. 3 doubles team of Sean Miller and Ignacio Morera-Lucas claimed a 6-4 victory. Jack Dausman and Martin Matov dropped a 6-2 decision at No. 1 doubles, while Sebastian Arce and DJ Colantone lost 6-2.
