The Grand Valley State women's tennis team claimed a 4-3 win over Valparaiso, improving to 17-3 overall on the year. The Lakers will next be in action Friday (March 6) versus Concordia (NY). 

Valparaiso claimed the doubles point after claiming wins at #1 and #2 doubles by identical 7-5 scores. Vera Griva picked up a 6-3, 10-7 win at #1 singles, while Marily Canellopoulos picked up a 7-5, 4-6, 10-3 win at #4 singles and Liv Hanover claimed a 6-1, 6-2 win at #5 singles. Olivia Huang picked up a forfeit win at #6 singles. Taylor Barrett and Marija Leko dropped three-set affairs at #2 and #3 singles.
