The Grand Valley State women's team upped its record to 12-2 on the year with a 5-2 victory over a previously undefeated Indiana Wesleyan Friday. The Lakers will be at Indianapolis Saturday for a 4 p.m. non-conference matchup. 
 
GVSU won the doubles point with wins by Vera Griva and Taylor Barrett (6-3) at No. 1 doubles and Marily Canellopoulos and Marija Leko (6-2) at No. 2 doubles. Griva opened singles action with a three-set (6-2, 3-6,10-8) win at No. 1 singles, while Leko (6-4, 6-3), Liv Hanover (6-4, 6-3) and Olivia Huang (6-1, 7-6) claimed straight set wins in the four, five and six singles slots.
