The Grand Valley State women's tennis team will open the spring portion of the 2019-20 season at home versus Findlay on Saturday (Feb. 1) at Grand Rapids Racquet & Fitness beginning at 10:45. GVSU, 10-2 overall, lost to Wayne State in the GLIAC Tournament Championship match during the Fall portion of its schedule.

Sophomore Vera Griva, the 2019 GLIAC Player of the Year, was 11-0 in dual meet action and 13-2 overall in the Fall, while freshman Taylor Barrett was 9-0 in dual meet play and 10-1 overall. In addition, Sophomore Marily Canellopoulos was 9-2 and junior Liv Hanover was 10-5.
