The Grand Valley State women's tennis team is on the road this weekend as they travel to Greencastle, Ind. to take on DePauw on Saturday (March 16) at 10 a.m. before a Sunday (March 17) match against Bellarmine in Louisville, Ky. with first serve at 10 a.m.

Grand Valley State enters the weekend with a 17-4 record after they went 4-2 during their spring trip in Florida. During dual matches, the Lakers are 89-28 in singles and 40-18 in doubles, as they have six players with 10 or more singles wins in those matches; that includes
Madison Ballard (12-5),
Marily Canellopoulos (12-5),
Livia Christman (13-4),
Vera Griva (13-5),
Nicole Heiniger (15-2) and
Marija Leko (10-6). In doubles, the Canellopoulos and Griva have gone 12-8 as double partners, Christman and Leko hold an 8-1 record. The duo of Ballard and Heiniger have also gone 7-5 with season.

Grand Valley State will face a 3-5 DePauw team in Greencastle, Ind. with first serve at 10 a.m. During dual matches, the Tigers are 14-32 in singles play and 12-12 in doubles. The Lakers will then head to Louisville, Ky. to face in-region opponent Bellarmine, at 10 a.m. as the Knights are 8-1 this season. In dual matches, Bellarmine is 42-12 in singles and hold a 22-4 doubles record.
