The Grand Valley State baseball team will host former GLIAC foe Hillsdale College today at the Laker Baseball Field. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. GVSU, 18-13 overall, is coming off a 20-12 victory Monday (April 9) at Davenport, while the Chargers, 15-17 overall, come in with a 12-3 record in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action. The Lakers claimed a 19-3 victory over the Chargers February 26th in Evansville, Ind.

Austin LaDoux, also coming off a 5-for-5 outing at Davenport with three RBI and four runs scored, ranks third in the GLIAC in batting average (.418). Junior RF
Jacob Gleason is hitting .387 and leads the team in extra-base hits with 17.
GVSU is hitting .308 as a team with 55 doubles, 10 triples and 17 home runs, while its pitching staff has a team ERA of 4.63 and an opponent batting average of .247.
Grand Valley State is scheduled to host GLIAC foe Ashland in a four-game series beginning Friday at 4 p.m.
