Best of the Midwest Football Academy Registration

The Grand Valley State football program will be hosting the Best of the Midwest Football Academy June 9-10 on the campus of Grand Valley State University it was announced today. Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9 in the Kelly Family Sports Center. The Best of the Midwest Football Academy will expose campers to a Life Skills presentation Friday night as well as 1 vs. 1 competition and on field instruction from the Grand Valley State football coaching staff beginning Saturday (June 10) morning at 8 a.m. and running through 5:00 p.m.

Following camp registration, the Life Skills presentation with speakers will begin at the Kelly Family Sports Center, followed by a parent recruiting seminar. The on field portion of the Best of the Midwest Football Academy will begin Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. and will be held at Lubbers Stadium, the GVSU Football grass practice fields and the Kelly Family Sports Center. The on field portion will involve instruction and 1 vs. 1 competition for all offensive and defensive position groups.

The offensive line and defensive line position groups will run from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, followed by the linebackers, running backs and tight ends from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The skill position players, quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs, will wrap up the Best of the Midwest Football Academy with the 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. slot.  

The Grand Valley State football coaching staff will be assisted in instruction by coaches from other college football coaching staffs.
