Grand Valley State University fourth-year head football coach
Scott Wooster announced the signing of 36 student-athletes to attend and play football for the Lakers in the fall of 2026.
"What an exciting day for GVSU football," said head coach
Scott Wooster. "The 2026 signing class culminates a year of building relationships with young men to make sure it is the right fit so that we can deliver an experience that will last a lifetime. This class is balanced along offense, defense and special teams and we feel that we were able to put together a group that will develope and make a significant contribution to Laker football. In addition, I want to thank everyone involved in the entire recruiting process from our coaches, support staff, the high school coaches, the student-athletes that chose Grand Valley State and their parents." Â
Grand Valley State's 2026 class consists of 36 total players from Michigan (26), Indiana (6), and Ohio (4). The Lakers signed 17 defensive players, 17 offensive players and two specialists.
