Jake Van Tubbergen led the Lakers with a double-double, scoring 21 points – 16 in the first half – and snagged 16 rebounds in his first game of his junior season in the Lakers' home opener win against Alderson Broaddus, 69-56.  On Sunday, GVSU defeated Davis & Elkins, 84-68, as Van Tubbergen led the Lakers with 20 points and seven rebounds.
