Grand Valley State University Athletics

George Rodriguez is in his first year as an assistant coach with Grand Valley State. Originally from California, Rodriguez was a top junior player in Northern California and is a graduate of Ferris State’s Professional Tennis Management/Marketing program.

The Laker assistant coach also played on the men’s tennis team while at Ferris State. He is PTR certified in Performance. George brings an extensive teaching background while learning from some of the industries greatest.  Once a Head Pro and a Director of Junior Development. George is also captain of two successful travel teams from Premier. His 4.5 team has made a national run and his 5.0/5.5 has been to State.

He also has a beautiful wife and three kids.
