Prior to GVSU: Played  two years at Southern Illinois...Played in 13 games with six starts...Completed 127-of-231 passes for 1,274 yards and 13 TDs.
    
High School: Three-time All-Conference and Academic All-State player...Two-time All-Area...Set a school career record with 6,546 passing yards and 67 passing touchdowns...As a senior, was named OHS Team MVP, Southwest Prairie Conference MVP and Max Preps Offensive Player of the Year...Rated a two-star recruit by Scout.com and 117th best QB of his class...2011: Completed 215 of 402 passes for 3,054 yards and 29 touchdowns...2010: Completed 181 of 304 passes for 2,471 yards and 24 touchdowns...2009: Completed 76 of 183 passes for 1,161 yards and 16 touchdowns...Played four years of varsity basketball and was named All-Conference and All-Area as a junior.
