Prepped at Jenison High School under head coach Kevin VanDuyn ... averaged 11.2 points, 4.3 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game for a Wildcats team that went 14-7 during her senior season ... named to the All OK-Red Conference team twice and was a two-year captain at Jenison ... earned academic all-state laurels in 2008 ... was a four-year member of the Wildcat track and field team, where she is the school-record holder in the long jump ... also named All-State, All-Conference, team most valuable player and captain of the track team in 2008 ... participated in Peer Educators, National Honors Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Leadership Academy.
