2025 NCAA Championship: O’Connell took home bronze in the 400 IM with a time of 4:16.36. She was named an All-American. 

2025 GLIAC Championship: O’Connell competed in four events at the 2025 GLIAC Championship. She took home silver in the 400 IM with a time of 4:18.67 and placed fourth in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:58.08. O’Connell was also a member of the 800 freestyle relay team that grabbed gold with a time of 7:26.62. She finished sixth in the 200 breaststroke, touching the wall at 2:20.59.

2024 NCAA Championships: Competed in the 400 IM with a time of 4:22:57, O’Connell took 12th. She finished 16th in the 800 Freestyle Relay with a time of 7:25:74. O’Connell recorded a time of 10:23:22 in the 1000 Freestyle to take 34th. 

2024 GLIAC Championships: O’Connell raced in five races at the GLIAC and took home the Championship in the 400 IM with a time of 4:20:53. She competed in the 800 Freestyle Relay with her teammates and took third place with a time of 7:29:12. Touching the wall on the 5:00:62, for a placing of seventh place in 500 Freestyle. Taking on the 1000 Freestyle, placing fifth with a time of 10:12:27. O’Connell placed 10th in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:03:86.

2023 NCAA Championships: Finalist in the 400 IM, touching the wall in 4:21.95 for 7th place… Finished 26th in the 200 IM with a time of 2:05.94… Touched the wall in 36th place with a time of 5:02.24 in the 500 Free.

2023 GLIAC Championships: Won the GLIAC Championship in the 400 IM with an NCAA B Cut time of 4:21.55… Scored a bronze medal in the 200 IM with an NCAA B Cut time of 2:05.10… Finalist in the 100 Back, where she touched the wall in 2:04.32… Continued her winning ways by tapping the wall first in the 500 Free Consolation Final with an NCAA B Cut time of 5:03.07.
