2023-24 (Redshirt Sophomore): Earned All-GLIAC second team honors…Appeared in 25 games making 20 starts…Averaged 11.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game…Scored in double figures in 17 games including nine straight games from 12/19/23 to 1/25/24…Recorded two double-doubles…Put up 15 points on 7-14 shooting with four rebounds at Illinois Springfield (12/19/23)…Scored 16 points in back-to-back home wins against Saginaw Valley State (1/11/24) and Wayne State (1/13/24)…Recorded 16 points and 13 rebounds against Purdue Northwest (1/25/24)…Posted a career high 19 points on 8-10 shooting with 12 rebounds in a road win at Davenport (2/3/24)…Scored 16 points on a perfect 6-6 shooting from the field in the GLIAC quarterfinal win against Michigan Tech (3/6/24).

2022-23 (Sophomore): Appeared in seven games, starting five of them…Scored 43 points, while adding 28 rebounds…Had six points and seven rebounds against Southwest Baptist (11/11)…Scored nine points and added seven boards versus UMSL (11/22)…Recorded a season-high 11 points and had three steals against Maryville (11/23).

2021-22 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in 27 games and made his first career start on February 17 at Davenport. Averaged over 10 minutes per game, scoring 2.7 points and averaging 2.4 rebounds. Had nine steals and a pair of blocks. Scored career-high nine points in GLIAC win over Lake Superior state. Had five or more rebounds in five games, including a season-high seven against Davenport (2/17).

Winter 2021 (Freshman): *COVID-19 season did not count against eligibility* Appeared in 17 games off the bench and averaged 9.1 minutes per game... Averaged 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds per contest with eight assists, four steals and a block... Recorded five points and five rebounds at Michigan Tech on Feb. 20... Scored a season-high seven points at Northwood on Feb. 26.

High School: Prepped at Holland Christian High School under David Kool...Earned all-state and all-conference honors as a senior, junior, and sophomore...Was named the Holland Sentinel Player of the Year and the Holland Christian Male Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Personal: Son of Tim and Amy Alderink...Has two younger brothers named Davis and Will...Earned his undergraduate degree in finance and is currently a graduate student in the MBA program.
