ALLENDALE, MICH. – The Grand Valley State women's volleyball team fell in their final match of the Hampton Inn and Suites Grand Rapids Downtown Classic, losing in five sets to Seton Hill. The setback drops them to 6-2 on the season.
The Lakers took the first two sets 25-15 and 25-10. SHU came back to force a fifth set with 23-25 and 25-27 victories in the next two sets. In the final frame, the Griffins finished the match on a 5-1 run to take the game.
Finley Arp totaled 12 kills and
Kennedy Arp added 10 more.
Gabby Orlet distributed 40 assists, with
Lexi Armstrong recording 22 assists.
