ALLENDALE – The No. 6 Grand Valley State women's soccer team returned home and played to a scoreless draw against Ferris State Friday (Sept. 18) evening. The Lakers move to 4-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the GLIAC.
GVSU outshot the Bulldogs 14-3 while the Ferris State recorded the only shot on goal of the game. The Lakers produced five corner kicks to the Bulldogs four corner kicks.

Kendall Aikens, and
Sarah Fromm led the way with three shots each.
Cole Lance added to shots in the game.
Acadia Murphy and
Ana Spaine played all 90 minutes for the Lakers.
Macie Hunter got the start in goal and earned her second individual shutout of the season making one save.
GVSU will travel to Saginaw Valley State on Sunday, September 20
