HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Grand Valley State women's tennis team claimed their seventh straight win Friday (Apr. 10) afternoon after defeating Michigan Tech 7-0 on the road. The Lakers improve to 13-1 on the season and 5-0 in the GLIAC. 
 
GVSU claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Natasha Sengphrachanh and Vale Mozas tallied at 6-3 win at the top doubles position. Mischa Briggs and Ipek Sakiroglu posted a 6-2 win at No. 2 singles. Rachel Sam and Lauren Burket dropped a 5-7 decision at No. 3 doubles. 
 
In singles action, Natasha Sengphrachanh claimed a 7-6, 6-3 win at the top singles position. Mischa Briggs tallied a 6-0, 6-4 straight set win at No. 2 singles. Ipek Sakiroglu posted a 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 three-set win at No. 3 singles. Anna Soteras recorded a 7-5, 6-4 straight set win at No. 4 singles. Amanda Diaz claimed a 7-5, 6-3 straight set win at No. 5 singles. Lauren Burkett added a dominate 6-0, 6-1 straight set win at No. 6 singles.
