HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Grand Valley State men's tennis team dominated Michigan Tech 7-0 Friday (Apr. 10) morning on the road. The Lakers improve to 9-5 overall and 3-1 in the GLIAC. 
 
GVSU claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Bora Bakici and Patricio Sepulveda tallied a 6-2 win at the top doubles position. Lawrence Ivanov and Stephen Claassen posted a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles. Jorge Ruiz and Andreu Martin dropped a 4-6 decision at No. 3 doubles.
 
In singles action, Bora Bakici claimed a 6-4, 6-4 straight set win at the top singles position. Jorge Ruiz tallied a 2-6, 7-5, 1-0 three-set win at No. 2 singles. Axel Le Ho recorded a dominate 6-1, 6-0 straight set win at No. 3 singles. Patricio Sepulveda posted a 6-2, 6-1 straight set win at No. 4 singles. Andreu Martin claimed a 6-4, 6-4 straight set win at No. 5 singles. Lawrence Ivanov added a 6-1, 6-4 straight set win at No. 6 singles.
