HAMMOND, Ind. – The Grand Valley State women's tennis team closed out the opening weekend of conference play with a dominant 7-0 sweep at Purdue Northwest Sunday (Mar. 22) afternoon. The Lakers improve to 10-1 on the season and 2-0 in the GLIAC.
GVSU swept doubles action to claim the doubles point.

Mischa Briggs posted a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles.

Mischa Briggs tallied a 6-0, 3-6, 6-0 three-set win at No. 2 singles.
Vale Mozas posted a 6-3, 6-0 straight set win at No. 3 singles.
Ipek Sakiroglu recorded a 6-4, 7-5 straight set win at No. 4 singles.
