LAKELAND, Fla. – The Grand Valley State women's tennis team swept Jefferson 7-0 Wednesday, March 11^th on their spring break trip in Florida. The Lakers improve to 7-1 on the season. 
 
GVSU swept doubles action to claim the doubles point. Natasha Sengphrachanh and Vale Mozas tallied a dominate 6-0 win at the top doubles position. Mischa Briggs and Ipek Sakiroglu recorded a 6-2 iwin at No. 2 doubles. Rachel Sam and Lauren Burkett claimed a 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles.
 
In singles action, Natasha Sengphrachanh posted a dominate 6-1, 6-0 straight set win at the top singles position. Mischa Briggs claimed a 6-1, 6-0 straight set win at No. 2 singles. Ipek Sakiroglu tallied a 6-3, 6-2 straight set win at No. 3 singles. Lauren Burkett notched a dominate 6-0, 6-1 straight set win at No. 4 singles. Amanda Diaz claimed a 6-1, 6-2 straight set win at No. 5 singles while Kalomoira Ralli added a 6-2, 6-1 straight set win at No. 6 singles.
