#8 Grand Valley State claimed an 8-3 victory over Cedarville Friday afternoon at the Athletes In Action Complex in Xenia, Ohio. The Lakers and Yellow Jackets will conclude the three-game series with a Saturday (Feb. 21) doubleheader.
GVSU scored five runs in the top of the ninth with the score tied 3-3. 3B

Evan Morrison continued his hot start with a two-run single to right. Morrison stole second and 1B
Jovan Gill added a two-run single to up the Laker advantage to 8-3.
The Lakers opened the scoring in the top of the third when Krstich singled and Stimac doubled with one out. Morrison then hit a three-run home runs down the right field line to give GVSU a 3-0 lead. Cedarville scored two runs in the bottom of the third and tied the game with a single run in the bottom of the eighth.
Morrison was 2-for-5 with five RBI and two runs scored, while Gill was 2-for-5 with two RBI. Estrada, Krstich and Stimac each collected two hits.

Duncan McLaughlin was credited with the win, yielding two hits and one run with three strikeouts in 2.0 innings of work. Senior
