UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The No. 15 Grand Valley State men's basketball team fell 92-65 at Saginaw Valley State Thursday (Feb. 19) night. The Lakers fall to 20-5 on the season and 13-4 in the GLIAC.
Javion Otten led GVSU in scoring with a career high 13 points on a perfect 5-5 shooting from the field with two rebounds and two assists.
Jalen Charity scored 12 points on 5-10 shooting with three rebounds.
Ethan Alderink added nine points and three rebounds while
Mason Docks notched six points and three rebounds.
GVSU shot 39% from the field, while Saginaw Valley State shot 50% from the field and 50% from three-point range. SVSU outrebounded the Lakers 42-33 and 14-10 in offensive rebounds. The Lakers will travel to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to face Lake Superior State on Saturday, February 21
