ALLENDALE, Mich. – Sage Mortimer was named Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Wrestler of the Week earlier today. Mortimer competes in the 117-pound weight class for the Lakers, marking the first time she has received the conference honor.
Mortimer, a senior, went 3–0 for the Lakers at the NWCA National Duals in the 117-pound weight class. She highlighted her performance by defeating the No. 2-ranked wrestler in the country in her third match of the tournament against McKendree.
