Rylie Bisballe Selected CSC Academic All-American

ALLENDALE, MICH. – A day after being selected for a GLIAC Commissioner's Award, Rylie Bisballe has been named a College Sports Communicators First-Team Academic All-American. This is the first Academic All-American selection of Bisballe's career.
 
The fifth-year player has helped lead GVSU to a National Championship and a 38-2 record. She led the team with 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds, recording five double-doubles on the season. She shot 51.8% from the field and 72.1% from the free throw line. The Lake City, Michigan native was second on the team in steals with 67, and in blocks, totaling 31. This season, she moved into the top-five in program history in points, made field goals, and rebounds.
 
Throughout her career in Allendale, Bisballe has been a two-time WBCA All-American and a two-time D2CCA All-American. Additionally, she was the 2025 D2CCA Midwest Region Player of the Year and a two-time GLIAC Player and Defensive Player of the Year. She has earned four All-GLIAC honors, been on four GLIAC All-Defensive teams, and been named to the D2CCA Midwest All-Region first team for two consecutive seasons. The three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, posted a 3.71 GPA, obtaining her accounting degree.
